i live in saudi arabia and there is nothing to here. what kind of thing r there to in a sandy place?
as guy there is nothing to do here but sit in coffee shops and talk...that sucks!!

sand surfing! i saw it on tv once, it was hilarious. there's also sand boarding and sand skiing, basically do snow sports, just on sand :)

Sandsurfing is a good idea, or you could try diving, dune bashing, camping, parachuting, bunjee, shopping, or visit the historic sites. If not, then you can always go to Dubai or Doha for a weekend or something.

Well it all depends on which city you are in. best thing to do is go to any newspaper stand in a big supermarket chain, or JARIR & buy a copy of jeddah today or what ever city you are in & look inside in the sports round up section or the diving in red sea section. also they have a section about camping and weekend, I am sure you will find alot of useful information there.

Hi, I need to attest a matric certificate that I recieved in South Africa, I am living in Saudi Arabia?
It is a South African Document, that needs to be attested in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am moving to Dubai, this is a requirement from my employer

For working in Dubai, your docs have to be attested by the South African MOI and the UAE Embassy in South Africa. If attested by MOI already, please contact UAE Embassy in Riyadh and ask if they will do the attestation for UAE or if you have to send your doc to the UAE Embassy in South Africa.

Why do countries like USA and Canada have tax while countries like Saudi Arabia don't

Why do countries like USA and Canada have tax while countries like Saudi Arabia don't?
I used to live in Saudi Arabia before and there was no GST or PST. But then i moved to Canada and then there was this whole deal with Taxes and stuff. My home country India had taxes too. So why do countries have taxes in the first place? And why do some have it and some don't?? THNX A LOT FOR THE ANSWER.. Not all people there are rich....It depends which place you look at..The area where I lived was an average area. There are places where there is barely water to drink and the poverty is very high....The people who are rich are in high up positions and they live in the very rich areas..Those are the areas that they show on TV.

anyway they can get money from us they will!. they even wanna tax online purchases now to get more money.

Countries have taxes to pay for roads & all the things we share together. We pitch in. In Saudia Arabia where do they get the money for libraries for example. Are all the people rich there? I guess if everyone were rich we could just buy everything instead of using the library. I know there are many countries where all the people are rich. I remember seeing them on TV & wondering at the time why the USA people thought we were the richest country. It is not true. I know our money disappeared when Bush was in office & I thing Iraq has about trillion dollars in surplus. I think paying taxes keeps our poorest people able to have a fair share of things so they can function & get to work to be used by the richer. So we have roads paid for my taxes or the rich people wouldn't be able to get the workers out to their house.

Cause Saudi Arabia has most of the worlds oil. Who needs tax money when oil is generating more money in a day than their GST or PST could generate in a year?

For the same reason as most US states have income and sales taxes but Alaska does not. Oil, black gold, Texas tea!
