HI Friends, i live in Saudi Arabia and working as an Engineer

HI Friends, i live in Saudi Arabia and working as an Engineer?
i just obtained Saudi Driving license valid for next 10 years.Can anyone tell me if i need anything more now to buy OR rent a car? Somebody was telling me that here in Saudi Arabia, there is something more mandatory: like road/license insurance.... Please guide me accordingly........what if i don't get these insurances???? Why donÂ´t you ask someone who actually rents or sells cars I sure that he will be more helpful

Dear Friend, now that you have your license, renting a car is no problem. You don`t need anything extra to rent any car. However, you can`t register your own car in your name unless you show them the proof of insurance for this car. The minimum insurance you need to buy for your car would be the so-called third party liability.
