cdc.gov has travel immunization info

Will there is no need for any additional shots unless you are going to Makkah or the Western province in general. If she is already immunized with the most common shots. There is no need for any additional immunization.
3 :
It will be better if you get the hepatitis B shot also, it is somehow common here. I know it is STD but 50% of those who have this disease donĂ¢€™t know from where they got the virus.
4 :
Im American and they didn't require me to get any shots before I came here.

not recommended..
2 :
Probably not a good idea.
3 :
stay in the US army base areas
4 :
Having been there, I would say it is totally unsafe unless she lives on a military compound. she will be hounded by the mutawa and if she be with a husband from there she will be governed by their ancient and closed minded ways.
5 :
They have to do and behave just like they tell you, it's the law there...
6 :
I don't know where to start, but as an arab I can assure this is a terrible idea. You should be more concerned about your safety than what type of job opportunities are available.
7 :
It is not at all safe. That is the reason that country announces soooooooooooo many restrictions to protect themselves first.
8 :
Yes it is safe , but you should abide to local customs Wear an (abaya) , a flowing black dress that women wear (foreign or not) to cover themselves Women must work in a "woman-only environment" , unless you are in a school for international students for example Women cannot drive cars , drink and pork is banned , and you should know that shops there all close temporarily for prayer time
9 :
Muslims may accept the monotheistic religions (Jewish or Christian), but in relation to others such as Hinduism or Buddhism, is not considered a religion in the Islamic perspective. period
10 :
There are lot of foreigners in Saudi Arabia, they have different back ground and religions. Most Christians women in the Country are from Philippine and from Asia. They work in hospitals, schools, kindergarten, women spa, women gyms, women hair dressers, some shops and some companies. There are Christians Families as well, that is because the man work in Saudi Arabia, either in Companies or at university or English Schools. I personally know some Christians families in Saudi Arabia. Hundu people... it is hard to pin them out,,, they dont tell usually that they are Hindu when doing the paper work, they say that they are Muslims so they can enter Saudi Arabia more easily. From what I saw, it is safe.
11 :
it is totally safe but to live upon Saudi Law. the main issues that must have on mind are the following: 1. Wear Abaya and Hijab. 2. Not to be alone with foreigners ( non foreigners are relatives such as husband, brother, son and uncles). a lot of problems has happened for women to go out with foreigners, they restrict it totally ! best place to live and to have more space are the compounds and the diplomatic quarter.
12 :
Hindus are regularly persecuted in Saudi Arabia. And Christians are advised not to go, or just to stay on US bases. It is not safe for anyone except Islamic extremists to be in Saudi, really, and don't let anyone fool you.
13 :
As a Saudi I can tell you if you understand the Muslim culture then you wouldn't be harmed at all. it first depends on the area you will live in some rare areas you'll have to dress like Muslim so people wouldn't stare at you ;), other area as I used to live in Jeddah, you'll find some girls really go free. Second, about the job: so many women work in Saudi Arabia, it's not like America but at least they work hhhh. So many non Muslim foreigners come to Saudi Arabia every year. big cities are ok with that like Jeddah an Dharan, Dammam, or King Abdullah city(I hope I go there). tell me or email me where you are going to live in and what kind of job you were thinking of, so I can help you more and give more information about it. believe me Saudi Arabia is not as what people think of or see in movies or news. it is just like any country. when people don't like something they make it big. I have me some Americans don't know that we have airports and we still ride camels to our work and school hhh. funny things you can hear. best wishes..

Can Caucasians from Canada live in Saudi Arabia and obtain citizenship

Can Caucasians from Canada live in Saudi Arabia and obtain citizenship?
I want to live there because i love the hot weather and it's cheap! :)

Everybody beside an Israeli national can live in Saudi as long as he/she got a job/sponsor. Gaining Saudi citizenship is close to impossible unless for women through marriage with a local. Look for a suitable job opening online, apply, get hired and move to Saudi. You also may learn something more about Saudi culture before making up your mind because Saudi isn't hot weather only and if it's "cheap", will depend on your income. And this will depend on your profession/qualification/degress/experience, etc. There are many other countries with hot clima where the living standard is much lower.
2 :
If you are not Saudi, you cannot get Saudi citizenship. And its very diffificult for a nonarab to get into the country. I lived there for seven years and wanted to go back there for a few days, and my aunt and uncle who are living there tried to help me, but i couldnt. They woulnt give me a visa. Even for a visit, its impossible to go there, unless you have a relative that lives there that can help you maybe or if you get a job there.
3 :
to live there 1-if you are professional workers and find job there 2-if you have money to investment to get citizenship its impossible for you..believe me its not cheap there
4 :
u can stay in saudi arabia but nationality no way, some r living here for past 40 years in hope of nationality(mostly are arabs) but didn't got until now. any specific reason to get nationality because i didn't have one?
5 :
If you are a Muslim you can marry a 30 year old Saudi and then your daughter will become a Saudi.
6 :
you can't get citizenship. but sure you can live here if you like the weather! because many ppl from west complain from middle east weather.
