History of Saudi Arabia from 3000 BC to 1 AD

History of Saudi Arabia from 3000 BC to 1 AD?
Sorry, but I got no good answers in history when I asked this, so I am going to try and ask it here. I am hoping someone knows something about Saudi Arabia's history. Which cultures or civilizations existed in Saudi Arabia between the years 3000 BC and 1 AD? What land did they occupy from the now Saudi Arabia. Was the civilization a superpower at all in the region? Were there just tribes living in Saudi Arabia during those times, if so, then which ones? Thanks for answering! I am really wanting to learn about the history of this world, and Saudi Arabia is a place that I want to learn about first. I will be moving onto the rest of the Middle East, and then to Africa afterwards. Thanks for answering! Thanks again for some answers, but you can write some real answers that I could learn something from instead of just sand, desert. I got that response already and am dissapointed with the quality of the answer.

A lot of Arabian history Pre-Islam is mostly speculation, as it was a land of myth, many tribes and traditions and in many places a difficult land for any civilisation to thrive (thats one of the reasons why the early Islamic caliphs moved their capital from Medina to Damascus and later Baghdad.) The one which sticks out mostly in my mind is the Saba (Sheba.) They are made famous in the Old Testament through the Solomon and the Queen of Sheba story. Its disputed whether the empire was either in Ethiopia and later colonised Arabia or were based in Southern Arabia and later colonised Ethiopia but its widely accepted they did rule the fertile lands around the Southern tip of the Peninsula. They were the most prominent for many centuries (they fell into obscurity around the 1-2nd Century BCE.)

Saudia Arabia is on the bottom part of the Furtile Crescent which is modern day Iraq. The early tribes in the region were nomdic till the Babylonians came in. Then the Assyrians controled the area, and lost it in about 600 bc. The Persians were the last to hold the region till about 350bc. Then the land is considered part of the Empire of Alexander the Great. Which is a short time, but his generals divide up his land.

Tattoos are haraam, so I don't think you'll find a clean place to get a tattoo here. Why not get it removed instead of trying to cover it?
2 :
Islam forbids tatoos.. its defacing, mutilating and changing of Gods creation.. There are no formal open tatoo parlors in SaudiArabia.. Now that doesnt mean there might be an underground illegal place, but if there were, you cannot guarantee safety of their equipment, aids, virus, bacteria, etc.. Dont risk it.. as she said.. get the scar removed
3 :
get it done in UAE, its the closest place to KSA
4 :
Yeah there are a few professional tattooist here. Contact me and we can talk.
5 :
that's gonna be a hard, there aren't people who do tattoos unless they do it secretly so they don't get caught because they are haram.
6 :
You can get the small whatever removed at Sulaiman Habib Medical Center. They have the latest laser equipment and techniques. See Dra. Leanna in the Dermatology Dept and she will fix you up. 462-2224.
7 :
it's not allowed, like everything else. kinda like in all the abrahamic religions they officially state that it's changing what G-d wants us to look like...the same way cutting your hair or combing your hair is huh? ironically, wearing clothes isn't 'natural' but they are all for that in ksa hha. i don't agree with it all. but ksa is very strict. pretty much everything is against the law because they are the most orthodox muslims. even things you would never think of being haram are. beats me who came up with the rules (sorry i don't believe G-d cares as long as u love Him) but that's the way it is. Like the orthodox jews with their long hair. that's why they keep it like that.

Are there atheist Arabs living in Saudi Arabia

Are there atheist Arabs living in Saudi Arabia?
Not discriminating or anything, just seems like it would be one of the most difficult places to be an atheist in. If there are, that's amazing.

No, they were all executed for denying fundamental beliefs of the region.
2 :
I'm sure there are, just not openly. That would be too dangerous.
3 :
If there were, you would never know because they would be living "underground" for fear of death. Same w/the Christians. I guess we have one thing in common after all:)
4 :
Probably, they're just in the closet for fear of punishment. Hell I'd do the same thing if I lived there.
5 :
Of course there must be, although coming out would require big balls!
6 :
yip plenty even alot of christians, there are jews not that many like christians though its so amazing how many people havent even been in saudi but they claim people who are non-muslim will be killed, what ignorance, ican't believe such honestly im not even joking anymore, its becoming truly bad how ignorant people choose to be.
7 :
I'm sure there are statistically, they just don't say anything. It's not something you can exactly notice.
8 :
They're probably so far in the closet about their atheism, they're bumping into satyrs and eating turkish delight.
9 :
How many atheists are there in Texas?
10 :
Probably, but nobody cares, but majority of Arabs in Saudi are doing these in Mecca: http://www.watchislam.com/tv3/
11 :
No- it is not permitted.
12 :
Of course there are - they are just VERY quiet about it. ********************* Indeed, how many in Texas! LOL
13 :
I am an atheist and i live in the middle east but i am not gonna say where...
14 :
Yes there are. Non-Muslims just have to silently put up with the din of the mosques and all the other restrictions from the Muslims - because as "I love Allah" says, they don't care about non-believers.
15 :
There probably are, but I doubt any of them are "out" since they would be shunned by their communities.
16 :
Not any who admit it! (it's illegal)
