Most USA phones are coded and people usually have trouble when they try to use them with their Saudi chip. So, do other USA phones work here? If yes then go ahead.

The i-phone will currently work on with the U.S. Carrier Cingular/AT&t they will begin exporting to Europe, i forget which carrier soon. It will be quite some time before it will be in the middle east with any carrier. However u can get someone in the US to get u on a US plan with overseas options but it will be Verrrrry expensive. Wait a couple years, or pay alot...sorry.

no, not for a new one ... i mean it should be first get set up with AT&T SIM card (it comes with iphone) and US network. after this setup its gonna work perfectly with stc network. u can buy it from the market here in saudi arabia i saw it couple of time in riyadh.. make sure that u dont buy it from the internet unless it already get the setup or u could use it as mp3 only.

will u can buy it but it wont work, so far it only works in the u.s but if u no some very good tech who can hack it then do, if not then just waite till it become available

Iphone is not sold any where expect the U.S. Will start selling in Europe by end of the year. You can only buy Iphone with an AT&T 2 year subscription contract, so you will end up paying a lot of money for it that is if you can have a friend or relative who is a resident in the U.S and even if you get it after paying the phone price+2 year subscription plan you will get a locked phone that only works on the AT&T network, you will need to send it to a specialist to unlock it and then it can work on any GSM network. I strongly advise you to wait for a few months. Once it is sold in Europe, the middle east will follow and it will be much cheaper.Apple is also expected to launch a new version of Iphone early next year so by the time you buy it and start using it, it will be obsolete.

i live in Saudi Arabia, n i want to take iphone 3g. my dad is going to USA and somebody told me to buy ur iphone from there. i heard it now available in $99 only. shall i tell my dad to buy iphone from there n unlocked it from here. Iphone in Saudia is too expensive. everybody please tell me what shall i do?

The iPhone 3g has been discontinued andis only available on sites like eBay. The iPhone 3gs is $99 WITH A CONTRACT which your father can't get. It's about $500 without a contract.

AM yeah iphone 3g is for 100 here in USA with 2 year contract but they probably already sold out. as for the iphone 4g its 200 with contract from AT&T contract. check Ebay for used version.

Well, 1st off the iPhone 3G is discontinued & the iPhone 3GS is the one for $99. That price is subsidized by AT&T the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in the US. Your dad wouldn't be able to buy it as you need to be American to do so, cause you are signing into a 2 year contract when buying it, which will bring very expensive roaming charges once its brought back to SA. Basically don't try it.

If you had the chance, would you live in Saudi Arabia or Malaysia?
obviously u had to be muslim..... which would you live in? in malaysia if ur muslim, u can't drink beer ; pretty much u have to follow sharia law even tho the non-muslims of malaysia can enjoy things muslims can't.

I like Malaysia, I would choose there. True you can't drink beer in public, but the malays are not so heavy handed with chopping peoples hands off, or throwing a woman in jail if you so much as glance at a man who is not your husband like the Saudis.

can you tell me a camp in london that i can go 2 from saudi please try to find a cheap one where i can stay for at least 2 weeks and they take us out to see big ben and stonehenge in wales
