we havent had any wars in the past hundred years or so.. thats iraq, kuwait, lebanon, palestine you are thinking about.. and we make a living the same way anyone else around the world does.. Sorry, SaudiArabia is not like you'd think in hollywood movies like ali baba and the 40 thieves or Aladdin.. we have jobs like lawyers, bankers, business men, shop owners, car salesmen, computer programmers, accountants, CEO's of corporations, politicians, pilots, doctors, the same as anyone else in the world.. We live in modern houses, with satelite TV, flat screen tv's.. mobile phones, automatic kitchen appliances like microwaves, dishwashers, fridges, etc like the next person.. Our houses have the same stuff yours does.. couches, lamps, rugs, a/c.. etc we drive the same type of cars everyone else does.. ford, chevy, buick, toyota, etc.. its really not much different.. our kids go to school from kindergarten to 12th grade and study math, reading, writing, computer, 1 foreign language, probably english or french, religion, etc.. then off to college like the rest of the world if they can afford it.. note: people I think want to hear that we live in the middle of the desert with a tent, and "bark" our camels up next to the tent post and walk 12 miles up hill both ways barefooted to get water and wash our clothing in the nearest oasis pool and ride around on arabian black stallions waving our swords and every man has a harem of belly dancers out back and we know the secret to the hidden cave in the mountains, all we say is "open sesame" and WALAH there is all the gold and treasure one can desire.. either that or we all have our own oil well out back...
