Does it cost alot of money to live in saudi arabia

Does it cost alot of money to live in saudi arabia?
i wanna move to saudi arabia one day . i wanna be close to The majid.( the one you perform hajj at) is this possible? and how much money will i need? i heard i had to have a degree in america before i can go in order to get a job. is this true? what do i need to be able to go over there?

it depends on u because some people r living in 600sr/month while others r living with 50000sr/month so that simply means u dont need a lot of money to live in saudi arabia. close to masjid haram yeah u can find job in it like to replace drinking water coolers etc. degree in america not true unless u need big bucks. a visa for saudi arabia and job in mecca.

To immigrate to Saudi you need a job/sponsor. If you are an American, yes, a degree is a must for landing a lucrative job. Get your degree and experience in your field. That way you have best chances to get hired. Choose a job of demand. I.e. in the medical field, teaching or engineering. Good luck!

if you want to live in mecca which is the holy place for Muslims i think it will cost you more than other cities in saudi, its most expensive city over here i am talking about real estate, the closest hotel to masjid alharam and kabba cost 5000/night almost 1335$, i think that because its the Muslim holy place and all world come to mecca every year for duty (alhajj, alumrah) and it becomes crowded at alhajj and Ramadan, my sister insist that she want us to sell house (we are in Dammam) to buy another one in Mecca but we won't found the same features of this house with the same price over there. you can live in Jeddah its less than hour by car between Jeddah and mecca also its big city and opportunity to get job there is big especially if you are educated, the price also less expensive in Jeddah, good luck!
