As far as temparature and climate wise it's really warm most days, if not all. I live in a fairly liberal city compared to Riyadh. Women here have to wear the abaya, I've seen women here that go out without their hair covered, hair covered, and face covered too. Others like myself, just cover our hair. We really just live like any other person in the world would. We clean, cook, take care of our children, our children go to school, our husbands go to work. Some women have jobs. There are the same type of restaurants and clothing stores as countries in the West have. It's very similar to living in a Western country.

OH> the deep dark hot mysterious land of Arabia seriously.. its not much different that anywhere else.. the language is different, but majority of people here speak english or someone nearby does that can translate.. the faith is Islamic and people live by moral codes, but if you live in the bible belt of USA, its the same thing.. Every activity mostly is geared towards families.. the climate is hot.. dry in the central area, and humid in the coastal areas.. Houses here are modern and current as for any house you'd see in USA or Europe.. we have all modern appliances, cars, electronics, etc.. this country with all its oil wealth is a consuming nation, we import goods from everywhere,, if they make it, we buy it.. (within reason, no drugs, alcohol, or porn) but if theres a gadjet out there, we can find it in our stores.. we live like anyone else.. we get up in morning, send our kids to school on the bus, go to work in the office, come home, relax a bit, then do chores, shopping, whatnots.. the same as anyone else.. no different..
