I am told they are quite different than ours. They are primarily built of a stucco like substance or of brick and stone. No vinyl or cedar siding. The houses, on average, are larger than that of the United States. There is generally a court yard in the center of the house. The average Saudi is able to have a staff of a House Keeper and Cook...sometimes even a Gardner too.

because saudi arabia is not the stereotypical "1001 nights" country, it has adapted to new technology so that's why arabs live in modern houses like americans.
